Fall Golf Fundraisers Will Benefit MS Foundation
July 14, 2008
Settle into your stance and hit a long drive for the MSF this fall. Two golf fundraisers are in the works on the East Coast to raise money for the Foundation’s programs and services.
In September, the fourth annual MS Busters Golf Tournament in Davidsonville, Maryland will give players the chance to win a 1999 Ferrari Spider worth $115,000 while helping the MSF. For the third consecutive year, the tournament’s hole-in-one prize will be a car donated by B&D Performance.
Organized by Marylanders Bob Sweeney and Ed Veres, both of whom have MS, the MS Busters Golf Tournament is scheduled for Friday, September 19 at Renditions Golf Course. This year’s tournament headquarters is the Greene Turtle in Edgewater, Maryland.

Questions to the Ask the Doctor forum are answered by a panel of health care professionals who dedicate their time to answering MS questions of topical concern to their specialties. While not every question can be answered individually, each panel of practitioners will offer their experienced insight into those concerns that would be of the most interest and value to our audience.
The MSFriends Peer-to-Peer Forum provides answers to your questions from people who are facing similar challenges. MS patients, family members, friends, and other people affected by MS are invited to share in open discussion.

An MS Foundation Patient Program
http://www.msfocus.org/online_newsDetails.php?ID=159
November 29, 2007
Last year, we launched our own cable TV program, “Living Well with MS.” Our goal was to educate viewers about MS and the programs and services available through the MSF. We selected a diverse panel of guests to provide useful information on relevant topics. Now, these programs are available for viewing at your leisure on our website.
Guests include Jeff Segal, a personal trainer with MS who was recently named NCA Personal Trainer of the Year. He offers helpful tips and the motivation needed to begin an appropriate exercise program designed to accommodate MS-related challenges such as heat sensitivity, fatigue, vertigo, mobility limitations, spasticity, and more.
